Tekken 7 is released by Bandai Namco to home gaming consoles subsequent to hitting the arcades in Japan some time back. This version of console depends on updated arcade cabinet, Tekken 7: Fated Retribution. the Tekken series has extended its character program and visuals while keeping its center battling style in place, previously presented as a 3D warrior back in the late 1990s. Unfortunately, it is observed that Tekken series could not get attention of Street Fighter, particularly in terms of e-sports. Tekken 7 has retrieved that and provided an encounter the importance of fireball and dragon punches in fighting games.
Bandai Namco released Tekken 6 long ago and was not less than a flop show. Tekken Tag Tournament 2 also had great contribution to the Tekken Series giving a feel of copy of itself. At E3 2016, Tekken 7 got much heed from fighting games fans in the game trailer showing the fight of Heihachi against super hero of street fighter, Akuma. If we look back just a year ago, Tekken got popular among console users as well as PC. Tekken 7 gives a rigid reminder of its past and what Tekken lovers visualized it in future.
According to the Director of game Katsuhiro Harada, the reason for delay in release of Tekken 7 was due to unwillingness of development team to release substantially developed product. The release of Tekken 7 was postponed from last year to 2nd June to ensure the perfect working of all features of the game.
Previous versions of Tekken Series consisted of Story mode and also provided option of single player mode to experience and learn different techniques of each player, but Tekken 7 is unique in some aspects. A dispute between Heihachi Mishima and his son Kazuya is focused in the story mode of the game, whereas in the single player mode either players can fight a duel or as a team against one another. Players will switch from time to time during fights. In treasure mode, players can elevate and raise ranking of each character by unlocking unlimited customization. Apart from arcade and treasure modes, players can master their gaming skills in practice mode
Different tournaments can be created upto maximum of eight players in the online mode where each player competes against the rival and individual result has impact on overall score as a team in the tournaments. Luckily, the game provides a very responsive and quick platform to connect opponent in the online fights.
There are total 38 number of players available to fight from the Tekken 7 platform. Each player has unique style and fighting techniques. Akuma from street fighter game and Eliza are the characters available only in the pre-order. Each stage in the background has very vivid and dynamic views and it would have been much better if there were more activities and involvement of outside people in the backgrounds. The 3D characters, soundtracks and title are pretty much improved as compared to previous versions of same series. To get the feel of classic versions, players can choose custom classic soundtracks while fights.
Tekken 7 provided excellent gaming experience to all fighting game lovers. This game would make you play all day long and will never fed up with the fireball and fatalities and keep on playing forever. Tekken 7 is excellent platform to attract all those player back to arena who have given up playing fighting games long ago.
