How To Find a Free WiFi Hotspot Using Facebook

If you often face the problem on your mobile phone of getting low on data, then you would definitely like to know about latest feature of Facebook. "Find Wi-Fi" is the latest feature introduced by Facebook, which helps you connect to the open networks around you.

The map of nearby area displaying the open hotspots is displayed after getting connected to the Facebook. This feature was thoroughly tested last year in several countries and after getting outstanding reviews, Facebook decided to launch "Find Wi-Fi" for its users all around the world for iOS as well as android devices. This feature only displays the networks which allowed Facebook access with their business and other open networks are not shown by this feature.

This feature can be accessed by following steps:

Step #1:

It is necessary to turn On your location option for Facebook.

From the "Explore Tab" click "See More" to find Wi-Fi

When the app is opened, "Explore Tab" appearns in the bottom right corner of the screen.

Step #2:
Scroll down the page to "See More" option and after tapping "See More", other feature including "Find Wi-Fi" will appear.

"Find Wi-Fi" appears next to "Nearby Friends" button

Step #3:
After tapping this option, ascreen will appear asking your permission to enable this feature. After enabling this feature, a map displaying open business Wi-Fi will appear surround the area around users.

"Free Wi-Fi" is required to be enabled to see nearby hotspots

This map will display multiple Wi-Fi options available to be connected to.

Initially there must be some data to load the map, after getting connected to free Wi-Fi no data is required and one can enjoy free unlimited Facebook until connected to that Wi-Fi.
